  • Fan flipping tastic, this emulator is so good it's simply ridiculous. It really should be better known to the emulation community now that anyone can download it without the unlock key. If there is any way in which i can help to promote this please let me know, it truly deserves it.

    Thank you sir! Hope we see more updates in 2011, even if it's just polishing up what's already a great project!

  • this emulator is absolutely fantastic. the built-in assembler is a developer's dream. I can't think you enough for this thing !

  • Thank you all for your enthusiasm and nice comments!

    @manicmiker23 :
    ParaJVE is really just a hobby project and is not intended to bring me money nor fame :)
    However, any kind of promotion (links, forums, videos, etc...) is of course always most welcomed.

    @reginald :
    If you are into vectrex development, maybe you'd like to have a look at my vectrex debugger project (ParaJVD).

  • This is AWESOME!! Can't wait till I can use more overlays! I own 2 veccys and normally pass on emulators but this is the exception!

  • Very nice, but why do I have to relaunch the emulator to switch games?

    By Anonymous Anonymous, at 2/05/2011 9:45 PM

  • Yes, at the moment, there's no way to switch games without restarting the emulator.

    This is a very popular feature request already, and it will eventually get implemented.

  • How do I download this emulator?

    By Blogger Unknown, at 2/15/2011 2:25 PM

  • ESC to quit does not work for me. my system freezes, and i have to kill javaw.exe in the task manager in order to get my computer back :(

    nice emulator though! still the best one around for vectrex :)

  • Travail vraiment remarquable. Merci beaucoup. Moi qui n'avait pas utilisé de Vectrex depuis plus de 20 ans, je suis parti à la recherche d'une occasion tellement l'émulateur m'a donné envie ;-)

  • Please consider making an android port. It would be great. Thanks

    By Blogger Darius9k, at 9/28/2013 4:02 PM

  • @Darius9k: I wish I had the time for such a port!

    If this was to happen, however, it would be a paid application as it would involve lots of work on my side.

    By Blogger Parabellum, at 9/30/2013 9:05 AM

  • That's OK, a target cost of about £1 to £2 would be the norm for this type of app. Lots of paid emulators on android.

  • Hi Franck. Thought about an Oculus Rift interface to the ParaJVE and ParaJVD Vectrex emulator? For 3D Imager emulation of course.

  • I like it very much. I played minestorm the only problem I have it stops after 15 mine fields. The original had more minefields I think.
